AudioRoute is a small Mac and Windows utility for recording system audio in any DAW or recorder, without aggregate devices, output rerouting, or Stereo Mix tricks.
Three ways to capture: drop the AudioRoute Capture VST3/AU plugin on a track in your DAW, pick "AudioRoute Input" as a recording device in apps like Audacity, or hit record from the menu-bar / tray icon and capture straight to a WAV file.
Under the hood: CoreAudio process taps on Mac, WASAPI process loopback on Windows. User-mode, no kernel extension.
