Fragment 2.0 - Examples and desktop capture

Fragment is a real-time collaborative cross-platform audiovisual live coding environment with pixels based image-synth approach to sound synthesis, the sound synthesis is powered by pixels data produced on the graphics card by code.

This video is a tour of most Fragment 2.0 examples (audio / graphics) with special focus on desktop capture feature which allow to use any software as sound synthesis source from live capture of screen / browser window / tab.

The desktop capture demonstration at the beginning is capturing a browser tab with a fluid simulation demo available here : https://paveldogreat.github.io/WebGL-Fluid-Simulation/

The end of the video show the graphics part of Fragment with 3D and 2D effects produced by GLSL code.

The video was recorded with 3 sound server running on a i7 7700 CPU with a GTX 970 GPU.

The new version of the synthesizer is a huge step forward and come with increased stability, a complete set of new oscillators covering most of the available sound synthesis spectrum (filters bank, wavetable etc.), instrument / channel separation with virtual channels, embedded FX chain with Faust support for custom DSP effects, Jack/ASIO support for the audio server, enhanced workspace, more inputs (MIC, improved analysis), embedded audio server files manager, downloadable binaries for any Linux distributions and downloadable tools...
