AURA Plugins produces high quality Editor & Librarian software packages for hardware equipment.
With our plug-ins, synth and/or effect unit owner can random generate patches, manage librarian with extensive features like copy & paste, renaming of presets and initializing patches. We also provide photo realistic User Interface of the hardware, with our own twist to it. This way hardware owner has a quick access to all of the real unit parameters.
Further more, our plug-ins are capable of recalling the last used settings per project. This means that if you have a patch x on song 1, which sounds like flute, it will be recalled to the hardware unit when the project is opened in Digital Audio Workstation. There is no need of storing patches to synth anymore. We call this feature Total Recall.
Icing on the cake would be our genius way of implementing multi-timbrality. Synth owner loads in one instance of the editor and the editor gives you ability to control all of the timbres of the synth. Example: JP-80x0 can manage both layers individually or linked. VirusHE can manage all 16 parts within one plug-in.
This also means that synth owner no longer needs to remember hundreds of CC numbers for their different synths. All of the CC parameters can be automated directly with our plug-in and the parameters will appear in the DAW domain.
Our motto is: "Don't leave the hardware behind". This is what we believe - This is what we work for.

Can't comprehend the negative review at all. Complicated setup ist due to MIDI limitations. The complicated setup is well documented on the developers site. It is not on the cheap site, but it does what it says, reliably.
The developer is a very friendly and helpful person reacting on questions in a reasonable time. He makes a living out of this I guess, probably has a familiy...just sayin'....;-).
The editor works very well for me. An alternative would be using the new Blofeld plugin by Waldorf. For many years this has been (and still is imho) the best way to integrate a Blofeld in a DAW.

After 5 years of purchase, the plugin, full of bugs, has never worked.
Year after year, promises upon promises, an update has NEVER been released.
A real shame, if I could I would give zero stars.

Great. It took a while to get it downloaded properly and set up, but now that I have it working it totally breathes new life into a 25-year-old synth. Great programming and well worth the $. Thanks.

Complicated setup, very different from what's normally seen these days. Confusing GUI (naming conventions seems ad hoc e.t.c.), support pages is a mess. Crashes my host (Logic) no answer from developer, AT ALL. Tried more than once.
Expensive. Not for production. Like a pre beta.

Beautiful, deep, emotion-provoking. In the sweet spot of one of my chosen microgenres. You can tell which, by listening to the demos. I'm very happy with this pack.
