Chiral Audio

Chiral Audio makes mechanism-first audio plugins. Each product implements the governing equation of a real physical or mathematical system rather than borrowing the system as metaphor.

Foxfire is a coupled-oscillator chorus modeled on the Kuramoto synchronization equation. Autocatalysis is a resonant filterbank driven by the logistic-growth dynamics of autocatalytic chemistry. Soliton is a dispersion-balanced delay derived from the Korteweg-de Vries equation. Boltzmann is a probabilistic MIDI sequencer built on the Boltzmann distribution. Anderson Freeze is a spectral freeze effect based on Anderson localization and the quantum Zeno effect. Geodesic is a gravitational time-dilation delay built from the Schwarzschild metric.

The studio is run by Blake Corman, a chemistry researcher and software professional turned independent plugin developer. The thesis is structural isomorphism: when a scientific phenomenon and a DSP architecture share the same governing equation, the resulting sound has internal consistency that adjective-driven plugin design cannot match.

All products ship for macOS 11+ (VST3, Audio Unit, Standalone) and Windows 10+ (VST3). Apple Silicon and Intel are native on macOS. License keys are delivered by email, activate two machines per product, and run offline for fourteen days between online checks.
