Both DuneCM and ZebraCM are also available in x64. Check out BazilleCM and AaltoCM while at it.

OB-Xd is pretty good.

It says "Works with 32 and 64 bit" at the bottom of this page, but they should say "if you have a bridge" or some other disclaimer similar to that
https://www.tone2.com/html/firebird.html

It doesn't actually say it IS 32 and 64 bit, only that it will work. It does work in Sonar for me with its built-in bridge, but again...its only 32-bit.

That bottom picture is a Windows 'sticker'. It doesn't say anything about being 32bit only, or 64bit. I agree, they could make it more obvious/clear, but their site isn't claiming a 64bit vst at all...

Sorry, why do you care what some other DAW's do, your DAW of choice have 32 bit version and you aren't loosing any plugins using it or having a need for this issue at all?

O.k. I am a bit confused.

I have a 64bit computer running Windows 7.
I have all my old 32bit synths running just fine.

so am I missing something here ? the feeling I
am getting from the initial post is that you
cannot run 32 bit software on a 64bit system.

or am I misunderstanding all this ?

He is using 64 bit DAW which can't load 32 bit plugins without external bridge.
