Aye, then you watch Get Back and see the Beatles using their then state of the art 8 track recording studio equipment :)

Are you safe?

The Ripply Fall is pretty sick, I love it. The phaser is really subtle and different than most I've heard.
It all works together very well, definitely right up there on the top of my recommended list :tu:

Did you see that Browne Amps has made a new pedal, the Carbon https://browneamps.com/thecarbon
which is just the John Mayer circuit side of the Protein. Seems pretty excellent. :tu:
Damn that sounds good. I’m gonna do some more digging on this. I don’t know much about the Bluesbreaker sound other than hearing John Mayer’s name attached to it on Continuum. I found a good read from Vurt’s man-crush on the JHS site https://thejhsshow.com/articles/what-is-a-bluesbreaker

I had mistakenly lumped it in with the Boss Blues Driver so time for me to learn something new

There's another one in the same cupboard. Its not 'Advanced Technology' like the Cambridge one, but its got a transformer, so its proper studio quality.

Unfortunately, Ive not been able to source one of these, for some reason, which has ruled out building a nuclear power supply for the modular.

Whoa, all of those are really cool!
I'm not a musician, but I've designed sounds that others use to make music. http://soundcloud.com/obsidiananvil

The two Ive got have buried in a cupboard for a years, probably the same 10 years as you said yourself; there was a point in time where I kinda got carried away with acquiring cheap musical/noisemaking kids toys off ebay.

Digging through for them, I'd actually forgotten quite a lot of what else was in there, so cheers for basically reminding me to have a look...

im assuming you removed the batteries?
otherwise at some point in the 10 years some of the toys would be triggered as the batteries die.
there is nothing more scary than being sat alone in the house and some unseen dying toy, starts slow laughing :o

So true. I have a Chewbacca that did that once.

It was already a bit scary… it makes it’s sound when you press the appropriate button, but then 5 minutes later it makes a sound again.

The fist time that happened was definitely scary. I blame the Chucky franchise.
