It wasn't me! (well, actually, it probably was) - apparently now an 'elderly' so maybe I forgot!

! WARNING !
Ambiguity alert.
Is it the porn that's horrible, or the consumer?
I was going to ask how anyone 'consumes' porn, but I'm not sure I'd want to know
P.S.
KVR seems to run like treacle today

Sheesh, mine's one of the Kara-Moon onesrockstar_not wrote:runagate, I feel your pain. I rely heavily upon Garret's handy download tool and unfortunately, all of the Kara-moon hosted songs do not mirror to his software.runagate wrote:Is there a list in the Cafe somewhere that will tell me which of the songs won't download with the download tool? I couldn't copy/paste from DOS, my DAW crashed before I could write it down and it's driving me crazy trying to compare songs I have with ones I missed for voting purposes and I hate leaving the few out every month that I just can't figure out where to find a working link to their song or whether I even have it in the first place... a checklist, perhaps?
When I used Garret's tool, there were 10 tracks that didn't mirror. In the past, I've not bothered to go back and DL directly from the links provided out of sheer laziness. This month, it was just too many of the tracks to ignore, so I spent probably 1/2 hour comparing my download folder with Markleford's list and got all missing entries eventually - a couple of them had to be temporarily hosted elsewhere for me to grab them.
I wonder if Garret has been appraised of this? Perhaps his download tool could be modified to mirror Karamoon hosted files as well.

I actually tried to make human music for once since one of the prizes is l33t.
Turns out that my attempt at normalcy is undetectable to most, but I'd nevertheless like to vote since my PC didn't die right before voting started for once hehe.

@Beardedone
If you give a joint #1 does that mean that your #10 becomes #11 ?

So's mine. Hosting/downloading issues can be a real hassle sometimes.runagate wrote:Sheesh, mine's one of the Kara-Moon onesrockstar_not wrote:runagate, I feel your pain. re downloading - YSIGET will work with karamoon - but you have to rename the file upon landing, and you may need to use the "Force" option if the download fails first time.

This perl script should download everything, but I have no means of transforming it into a windows executable right now
[edit]
Slightly improved version of Garrets download tool
