Very cool extravaganza, weird harmonies.

However, I think that many synths don't come together in terms of mix. Like a bunch of presets thrown together.

Has a really nice John Carpenter feel to it, like a more funky post-apocalyptical scenario where the nuclear zombies have star-shaped sunglasses and rhinestone vests. Nice. However, i really don't think that pluck sound fits in very well. It's just a little too Pure Moods and doesn't quite mesh with the grooviness of all the other elements.

Duplicate.

yeah, it does actually sound like it was all randomly thrown together.
but at least it sounds nothing like some of the boring, repetitive
old trance out there.

I think thrown together fits nicely with the title. In a post-apocalypse, you probably won't have time to think, just do to survive. I remember the Linplug RMIV, a much-underrated drum sampler and was my goto before I got hooked on Battery and Spectrasonics stuff. Enjoyed the listen.

Groovy and atmospheric. Cool riffs. Good use of space. The mix is perfect. :tu:

I agree with voidhead23, there is an acoustic (harp?) pluck that stands out against the synthetic background. I would consider replacing it with a synth pluck so that it blends in better.

Decided to do some slumming tonight so hanging out at Music Cafe.

Interesting piece. Shades of Alan Parsons Project in spots. Nice clean mix. I liked it.

But I'm pretty easy to please so there's that.

updated new version, kicked that happy harp out and replaced
it with a generic synth preset sound to go with the rest of the
preset sounds!

Good stuff as always. I must admit I didn't notice the happy harp in the first version. Nor in the second one for that matter... ;)

Probably because I was too busy entering post-apocalyptic MacGyver mode, trying to make a bomb from a shoelace, chewing gum and a pack of thumb tacks in order to fight off the approaching zombie horde*.

* is this actually a zombie apocalypse, or just a run-of-the-mill one?

The Happy Harp is banished from the land. Doom and gloom wins the day. The track sounds great! :phones:
