I found the earlier thread on this same topic for version 3.0.3 but the behavior for Bake Root Override(s) seems not to be working. I load in wavs, alt+drag them into the region so they get laid out along the keys and they play fine: one sample per key as recorded (not pitch shifted). If I save the bank or performance and reload it that behavior is lost and the root is determined to be C4 for all samples (none have a root when created). If I repeat all this and bake the override it simply blanks the root note from the sample information but still will not reload after save, even after re-saving the wav file. It also appears the the "run token automapper" button is stuck to the on/blue position and cannot be switched (i'm on the free version). I'm probably doing something wrong...maybe?
Thanks for any help.

I think you stumbled on a bug: Root overrides don't work properly when you try to remove roots. They were intended for not having root, but wanting one (seemingly more common, and to me more sensical). The "I don't want pitch" use case can usually be handled by simply moving drums or whatnot to a separate group, and setting key cents to zero.
But, sure, I'll fix it. Feel free to point things like this out during the beta period though. :-/

As for the automapper button: Just turn on Pro mode, disable it, and turn off Pro again. But it should not run if you are not in Pro mode, so having it turned on is not a big deal.

Thank you very much for the crazy-fast fix. Sorry it came up past the beta period.
