To me automatic name transfer is the most needed feature. Using it as a control surface is more of a luxury. Thanks dRowAudio.

Old thread I know, but am considering getting a Console 1 and would like to know if this went anywhere (assume not since Waveform not listed as a supported daw)?
Even so, is it still a good combination - even if have to manually update track names?

It works fine other than that. It would be nice if it had auto name transfer, but it's not a deal breaker.

OK thanks for the quick response - must be what what 10 pm in Nashville. If you are still up, do you have the fader thingy as well, or is that really not so useful unless doing very old-skool multi track all hands and one foot fade outs, etc? (Can't see a need for that really, although maybe ......). Is there a way of tweaking sends on the basic Console 1 - which is possible with the fader version?

Sorry I never saw this. Not sure what you mean. If you mean Console Fader (their new device) no I don't. But I think you could build a workaround. Remind me and I'll try it when I am on Christmas break.

naming tracks can still be done just not auto,however it would be wonderful if softube and tracktion could get together, i would like to know if the new console fader will work with waveform,,i see there are issues with protools and varying gripes with cubase and studio one but if the basics of the fader worked i would buy it ,had the presonus faderport but that did not work well with waveform
