More plugin problems on OS Catalina - NOW what's wrong?

Just had a customer report that my AAX plugin is not opening on Catalina with dreaded "this plugin needs to be updated" error.
My plugin (64-bit) is signed and verified with Apple Developer Application cert; signed and verified with valid Pace cert; zipped and notarized with verified notarization UID - and it works HERE.
But it's not working on this customer's Mac. Any ideas why? NOW what's wrong?

It's Apple. It is the best, the fastest, and the latest, but it will soon be obsolete, inefficient, and will need to be updated. I am sorry, I have no idea.

@Fender19 Perhaps consider they are trying a dodgy copy, and not the one you built? I now check the version and location they got it from, before, just in case. It sounds obvious, but I'm quite surprised how often people DON'T get my stuff from my website.

Thank you for the suggestion. If that's the case then all of that "security" is doing what it is supposed to do!
This was my latest update (for Catalina) to my plugin he already had loaded and working on his Pro Tools rig. Apparently he update to OS Catalina in the meantime (WHYYYY!??). Anyhow, I suggested he clear his "installed aaxplugins" folder and rescan. Perhaps somehow he still had the old version in there, IDK. So far I haven't heard back so...

Yeah, sometimes these Apple nuts upgrade in the MIDDLE of a work job for someone else in a FECKING STUDIO - they know they shouldn't but they can't resist! - It's all shiny and lovely, don't you know!
Silence is often a good sign, as their ego prevents them thanking you for your time, and apologising etc etc.
You never know though, of course, they might be brewing a ginormous email detailing everything they think is wrong.
