For the DrumFixer I can definitely get some builds uploaded pretty soon!rbn777 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 19, 2020 10:32 am
Drumfixer and the latest FDN experiments (specifically the amp feedback, as I've yet to find any plugins that could do this convincingly) seem super interesting to me in particular. Also the concept of Crossroads seems extremely fascinating, but from what I understand this isn't a plugin on itself, but rather a framework that could "generate" effects (that could in turn be compiled into plugins) or something like that?
The FDN stuff is still very experimental, but hopefully I'll have stuff to share soon. The AmpFeedbackFDN is less a true recreation of amp feedback, and more a reverb effect inspired by a method for modelling amp feedback (see here: http://www.music.mcgill.ca/~gary/course ... J-1990.pdf). If you're looking for that, GeoShred (http://www.moforte.com/) has the best sounding thing that I've heard, but I think the effect is tied in very closely with their string models, so it would be hard to extract as a standalone effect.
For Crossroads, you're exactly right. Eventually, I'm hoping to turn it into a web app where you can upload two audio files, and the system will generate an audio effect that can transform the audio from dry -> wet, which you could then downlaod as a plugin. Unfortunately, of all my projects, Crossroads probably has the longest to go before it becomes fully realized in this way.
I think the one you're looking for is here: https://github.com/jatinchowdhury18/Bad ... odeClippernilhartman wrote: ↑Sun Apr 19, 2020 10:41 am Hey Jatin, I think I read some doc about Diode Clipper and I can't find it. Is my memory playing tricks on me ?
Thanks for the amazing work anyway !
Super sorry about this! I've heard a few people reporting this issue, and have been having trouble re-creating the bug on my end. I'll do some more testing and try to keep everyone updated.

Oh wow. The new degradation and chew options are wild!
The mac builds zip is a bit of a mess. There's 3 copies of the files in there and the newest ones are buried inside old ones. For example, the new vst3 is in the folder /Users/travis/build/jatinchowdhury18/AnalogTapeModel/Plugin/Bin/Mac/CHOWTapeModel.vst3/.

It's actually hidden here: /CHOWTape-Mac-2.1.0/Users/travis/build/jatinchowdhury18/AnalogTapeModel/Plugin/Bin/Mac
It's still won't validate in Logic, unfortunately.

Those are actually the older 2.0 versions. The 2.1 versions are inside the files you find in that folder. Right-click on them and pick show package contents.

Hmm, really sorry about that guys! My Mac builds setup is a little bit complicated at the moment, since I don't own a Mac. I'll try rebuilding and see if I can test on Logic before I upload again. I'll keep everyone posted.
