I know you'd rather hear it from an official source, but since I'm a bit of an addict and have seen most of the threads:ttoz wrote:-Is it going to have better timestretching yes or friggin NO??

thanks.
-Better timestretch: no.
-Acid project tempo wave preview: I don't know if I'm understanding what you're asking for, but T2 will have no Acid functionality whatsoever.
-freeze function: this one hasn't actually been discussed in any threads I'm aware of, but I wouldn't count on it.

I thought you'd gone 'reason' only ttoz?
You don't even *like* Tracktion.
or is there another flip-flop in the air?

Yes plat, but if we could mute, solo, alter volume in freezed tracks it would be very helpful. A tractionhead hereplatinumears wrote:[quote="ttoz

That's what I am currently doing jtx, but I think freezing with the possibility of unfreezing is more elegant solution ( and yeah I know I can add instead of replace rendered tracks mute the original, disable the fx/synths in the original to save cpu and all that)jtxx000 wrote:but to be able to do that you would have to have each track frozen to a seperate 32/64 bit file... personally i like rendering tracks better than freezing anyways.
