In what host? It seemed just fine in Live. I'd expect performance issues there more than anywhere.aldi wrote:performance of rmiv ist VERY, VERY bad. sadly, because features and working with is good.
If you have requests for Korg VST features or changes, they are listening at https://support.korguser.net/hc/en-us/requests/new

Extreme opposite here and not because I work with Linplug but because it is the Best Drum Sampler I have ever used..

RMIV performance is great here in Tracktion.
These threads about RMIV content in tracktion are funny...chinese whispers you can see...so much conjecture.

Have I got this right???
When you buy a copy of Manystation it comes bundled with a free version of Tracktion 3, including the RMIV plugin, Karnage and Battery???
That's great news!!! Thanks for clearing that up guys!!!

try using multisampled instruments like dkfh. performance in t1 IS bad. seems to have to do with kits with MANY samples. i have written a programm for my own to extract and convert the wavs of bfd to lm4 kits thinking i can save some power and ram using only the direct signals of bfd kits. testing it with dr008, battery2, rmvi. the conclusion is bfd uses 10% cpu on a 2MHz athlon xp with full kit in t1. dr008 15% just the dry signals and roomsamples, rmvi 40% and battery 50%. i made this test, because i don't have any of these drumsamplers my own and was going to decide wichone I'll buy. till now i really don't know. dr008 or bfd.

There are some VERY long samples in RMIV kits that can cause the increase of polyphony usage. Lower down the polyphony settings of each pad will help alot.
