I think this thread was originally about "Cubase Sucks" hosts vs. "Non-Cubase Sucks" hosts, no?
Jens-- I didn't PM you about the beatslicer because I sometimes feel like it's wasting your time. You give excellent descriptions and take your time to be a good teacher, and then sometimes a week later, I've already moved on to an alternative solution. For example, I remembered my old copy of Plasma Express 2003, which has Acid support for my Beta Monkey loops.
Not as flexible for beat mangling, but infinitely easier just for making sure the tempo is all sorted out.
