"Just be grateful they gave you a ballpark figure" - You can't be serious...

Oh, yeah, this for the master of reality who said
"Missed" - that is an understatement of the century...
:?

You know roughly when its due. If you'd rather you didnt have a f**king clue when it was coming, then thats fine, but most people kinda quite like to know when things are expected. Some of those people might have some kind of realistic expectation that the development of a piece of software which relies on a large number of different software vendors, and the subsequent packaging and distribution of that item might actually be subject to some slippage, but hey, you go on being happy in your little universe where a couple of weeks elay is the end of the f**king world.

Lets hope you never have kids. You'd probably never forgive them for being born anything other than 9 months after the day of conception.

I guess You are the kind of the person that when shot in a head - apologizes to be in a path of the bullet...

No honestly, we already know you're a complete tool, with no sense of reality whatsoever, there's no reason to keep proving it....

I wonder if they will make *that* mistake again.

I have an exceedingly logical brain. What you're demonstrating isn't logic, but lack of patience. ;) Most of the time, my logical brain reads these threads and goes, "what are these people THINKING?"

A LOGICAL brain would already draw the correct conclusions. It's not like they're holding back just to piss off a handful of impatient (but loyal!) Tracktioneers. A logical brain would have concluded that the product is stable (it would have to be, for people to review it) and that there are obviously just a few administrative details to take care of before release, some of which might have been unanticipated. I don't know exactly what they are, but my LOGIC tells me that Mackie and RMS are even more anxious to release this program than we are to get it, so any hold-ups are almost definitely (again, drawing on logic here) either necessary or simply unforseen.

missed is missed is missed.. it's no understatement.

Off Topic-- it gets me when people say, "Wow, that's really unique."

Well, no... unique is unique. Either something is one of a kind or it's not.

...hmmm...can't some things be more "one of a kind" than others.

...or if you really want to remain logical, is there anything that's "really" unique. ;)

no ... everythings not as homogenous as everything else out there though ...

Sick of waiting...
Just bought Ableton Live 4....
Why are even here...? shouldn't you be making music with your "sick of waiting" sequencers... you must have purchased to fill the void, and obviously Tracktion still has something you want. Maybe you are just mad at the world for burning all the cash and realizing you are still NOT satisfied.

you are so "sick of waiting" and yet you still wait... and if you are not waiting, then you are trolling this forum as it would mean you have no true interest in the product, other than to stir the users here. wackness. :?

with love as always,

yes, that gets me too.

I got a catalogue from sweetwater that had tracktion 2 priced at $149.99. I called them up to find out more but they said that the program will not be out until May. So i guess we should all get comfortable.

Hehe... I love reading this kind of crap. I'm surprised no one has threatened to hold their breath until T2 is released. I swear, if a few of you folks ever had to deal with any legitimate problems, you'd kill yourselves or just burst into flames or something.

Go make some music, or sit in the corner and suck on a pacifier until you get your way. Or, if you must, continue whining... it's amusing for the rest of us.

I agree,

But I still had to chuckle that the implied "be at peace, chill out" message comes from a guy whose name is MADatGOD. :D

Just bugging, though... I agree with your point. ;)

I get that kind of thing a lot. My sn is just a lyric from my favorite Pantera song, not a personal philosophy or anything.

As trite as it is... life is too short to sweat the little stuff, and this is about as "little" as it gets.

Hmmm, interesting. A music vendor like Sweetwater would probably get told the true release date. That means Mackie will probably annouce the date to us peasants in the next couple of weeks.

Bah! I gave up waiting :tantrum: and bought myself... :tantrum:

....

A Roland Fantom X6! :-o :D

Oh sure, despite the onboard sequencer and audio recording facilities I'll still have to take the final output and use Tracktion for mastering, but it seems like a decent compromise. :P

You guys have fun, I'm off to make music! :D :hihi:

ps. I wonder if the golden master has even made it to the pressing plant? There's typically a fair amount of turnaround time even from the larger CD replication companies...
