(Was that so much to ask for?)
Err, sure it does. Just click on the + sign on the key mappings page. There's one entry for start/stop playback, and also separate entries for both start and stop.
I don't have it up right now, but how does that do what I'm talking about: simultaneously allow stop and return the cursor to start and stop and leave the cursor where you are under different keys? I don't see it. Perhaps it's arcane language and when I get my hands on it again it'll make sense.

Hey Guys and Girls... T2 is all about "update" NOT major upgrade... It looks the same, "tastes" the same IT IS what 1.6 was plus few bits and pieces that we can't see...

Hasn't this been done to death? It isn't going to happen. It doesn't look like Windows, it doesn't look like OSX, and if they ever release a linux version, it wont look like KDE either.
Someone shot the food. Remember: don't shoot food!

the little clock upper right is redundant as a clock lives just above it on the osx menubar!

anyhow I personally find that where Tracktion differs from osx's look it is a relief: I think osx has something to learn from Jules rather than vice-versa! -- 2d rules!

Jules has a clock fetish, if it were up to him every filter would it's own little clock on it. He's the Flavor Flav of the audio development posse

Nope, Mr. Warmonger. It still doesn't do it. Those choices have nothing to do with the curser returning to start or not.
An easily fixed stupid thing to leave out.

What's wrong with the "home" key?

But you can't get to the Windows taskbar without minimizing Tracktion (i.e. if, like me, you Auto Hide your task bar, you can't just drag your mouse to the bottom of the screen and have the taskbar appear). I've always loved the fact that Tracktion has a clock right in the program.
