In addition to my trusty ol' Korg M1 as main keyboard, I use a Novation Remote 25 and a UC-16 as midi contollers (the 25 is two-octave with knobs and sliders, the UC is just knobs).
In T1, this setup works properly. In T2, the setup seems to be exactly the same, all devices are "go" and appear on the edit page--the Korg and the UC16 work fine. But the Remote brings up a message when pointed to: "This midi input is currently being used for an external controller, so won't be receiving normal midi message." So it doesn't work at all.
Ideas?

go to the extrenal controller tab in the settings and deselect your controllers.
That page is *only* for the MCU and C4 devices.
Check the manual for the section on using automation - it describes controler mapping with devices such as yours.

I'll laugh. Then I'll delete it.
