i made the noob mistake of having the automate record button on when i was EQing bass! so you can imagine what that sounds like..whats the easiest way to get rid of all your automation and start again? i can't figure it out. i'd to find a better way then just double clicking all the white squares till they go away.

select an automation line and then look at it's properties panel, there are buttons to manipulate the data
Kick, punch, it's all in the mind.

so there isnt a way to just remove the lines completely? some are high on the track and some are low..its a pain.

select the automation curve.. then look in the lower properties panel..
select "delete points from curve" button -> "delete all points from curve"

that's it.

you can delete all automation points from the line, then you can click the A and hide the line from the track

ok..so when you hide the line from the track (after clearing the points) it's not going to affect volume..even if it's high or low?

If there are no automation nodes, the line just repesents the current value of that parameter.
