I just didn't want to populate the BB with back and forth support emails. Also direct email is the best way to help once an issue is on my radar.

by the way: like on any other computer, you can press the power button for approx. 5 sec. this will help ;)

It does not sound like an overheating problem. If the CPU overheats the Receptor shuts down (the front panel goes dark, the fans, and the hard drive stop spinning).
