The serial number is: SN# A40616100157. It has the stock factory RAM. Currently own ILok licenses for B4 & Kompact.
When first getting the unit – and before purchasing the licenses, I attempted to install plug-ins (CS-80V, B4 and Kompact) from existing PC programs that were not “receptorized” using the procedure in the manual. Each of the attempts failed and the respective files were removed per the procedure in the manual. I then purchased the Ilok licenses to authorize the already installed plug-ins.
Receptor was specifically purchased for playing live gigs – with the dependably of a “hard” synth. Have since stopped using receptor the until can get it stabilized.
Despite the above fundamental trouble, Receptor is an incredible concept with thoughtful design, fantastic functionality and exceptional ease of use. Without question one of the most compelling products in a long time. The first day I became aware of it was purchased that day with FEDEX next day AM delivery – that is how exciting Receptor is!
Did the process of trying non-Receptorized plug-ins corrupt something? Could it be a that the VST DLLs that I was attempting to install had a conflict with the already resident “Receptorized” “Iloked” versions? Do I simply need a disk rebuild to go back to a “pure” factory image?
Suggestions??
