It's like your friend Bob that's always whining and being gloomy when you go to parties. Eventually, you get sick of Bob and stop inviting him to parties. Bob finally catches on and says, "Gee, I know who my real friends are now," instead of taking responsibility for being a frigging pain in the ass all the time. Don't always be blaming other people for their reactions to you. Take your responsibility sometimes.
Jens-- super-weak... no, extra-weak logic and/or argument. OK, so there's a miniscule amount less CPU being used with a full-edit render. I already admitted that most of us have systems that can handle the other kind of per-track freeze (which you ignored as if I hadn't even said it?). That doesn't change the FACT... FACT that 1 audio file being played back uses less CPU and less HDD (of course, you didn't mention the HDD part, instead focusing in on the CPU) than 24 individual audio files.
I didn't quantify 'how much' less is used. I simply said that it uses less. Which is indisputable, so I don't know why you always bother trying.
