I am wondering if there is a way to render a click track to either a midi or audio file?

I think it depends on your soundcard. On mine, I have "mixer in" enabled as an input, so I can record any sound going through the soundcard back into tracktion. Then I just mark 4 bars, make sure click is on, and record the audio. I like layering the metronome with the snare sometimes ;) .

Oh I'm sure you could use something like tape-it too.

Yes...or just stick a mic infront of your speakers/monitors and record...But I would recommend if you do use a click track in Tracktion, to try to keep your new wav click n'sync (booo...sorry bad joke)with the tracktion click (bars the same and stuff), as some plugs will use this info for things (primarily delay)... but I also dont know very much, and I may be wrong, I just assumed some of my delay vst's worked like that.
