You should have a 'MDA plugins' folder containing a long list of plugs:

Just to double-check: you have the track routed to 'default audio output', the input is pointed to the track with 'enable end to end' turned on, and the 'e-to-e' button by the transport is turned on..? If so you should be hearing something.
Try importing an audio file onto another track and see if that plays ok..

Weird.
Try this archive
(In the projects view: 'import material' -> 'unpack an archive and add it to this project')
Its just a single track set up with JX10 routed to the default audio out.. if you make sure your MIDI input is pointing to the track and all the end to end options are on, you should definitely be able to play the synth.

that was just hyrogliphics when i clicked on it. maybe a windows to mac thing
I found the dx10 (i think that was the one u asked me to plugin earlier, still
no luck.
I am running low on hope.
I will say amplitube is far better than what i had with garage band!

Try right clicking the link and saving it (or whatever your mac equivalent is..)

did that save it to desktop, double clicked on it. It may T2 be the open window. didn't see where it populated any tracks and of course not a sound to be heard. I can't tell you how much I appreciate your efforts.

I don't think you can open an archive by double clicking it..
In the projects view: 'import material' -> 'unpack an archive and add it to this project' now point it to the archive on your desktop. You should now have an edit called 'SimpleJX10setup' in the projects page: double click this.

Hi scoplin
don't 'lose hope'. seriously, everyone in computer music hits a wall at some time or other, and there is always a solution just around the corner. lucky for you it is tracktion that you hit the wall in, because although i am not a regular user i do know that it is one of the easiest and best so it won't be long. just be patient with yourself. it will turn out to be a simple solution in the end.
cheers.

ok..I have the Oxygen 8 I use it constantly. THE UBS DRIVERS SUCK. Seriously, remove them because they arejust no good. I'd STRONGLY reccomend using a MIDI cable from your oxygen into your sound interface..you then just choose your sound interface as an input and turn E to E and record on..you will have no problems if you have it hooked up right.
The reason I know the USB drivers suck is because I have an akai mpd16..now akai doesnt seem to give a rats ass about their drivers, but this mpd runs on usb for me and is rock stablein tracktion..unsinatll the Oxygen USB and go MIDI cable.

I will try that, I will say i never needed a midi cable with GB and the drivers never failed me
I am using both, midi cable is coming from my oxy8 using the choice usb not the keyboard selection (2 midi selections on back of ox8) into midi out on my interface
