not exactly a freebie, but if you can get hold of a copy of computer music issue 78 (october 04) there is a demo & the instructions on how to authorise a special cm version of spineq.

its just that all that money is going to my equipment that i have on credit

In that case I'll post something if I come across any cool looking free-ish EQs, though I was always frustrated looking for one in the past. That's why I ended up throwing down for Eqium.

Not sure what price you consider cheap, but IK's T-Racks analog modeled plug ins are very versitile

i'd like to know what hanging on a "tiny bit" means...? a week? two weeks? 5 months?
