First day of Receptor and... got some issues which may or may not be my fault.

Installed v1.3 right off and promptly lost all my factory Multis and Singles (at least I think that's when it happened). Not sure how to get those back.

Installed Tom Conrardy's two collections from Plugorama, and while they mostly work, it seems like these and other .fxb files have been sprayed all over the various directories of my Receptor hard drive. So have several copies of certain URL link files (like the one for registering).

The TC_Receptor_1 folder of stuff is where I'd expect it (inside Multis) but the TC_Guitar folder is nowhere to be found--- it shows up when calling up patches, though.

Later on, I did find the place on Plugorama's download section where it warns to back up Multis and Singles, but the manual doesn't have that same warning. And nothing said "these will be deleted"--- in fact, it kind of infers that these are not erasable.

Any of this sound familiar?

Update: Seems like the folder structure stuff was possibly just an "illusion" caused by a bad networking session with the Receptor--- I re-connected with a different protocol, and things look as they should, and in the right folders. Whew!
BUT--- I still managed to erase my factory Multis and Singles. Does anyone keep an archive of these?

Any idea how to get a restore of my factory banks??

On the Receptor hard drive there is a folder called "Reports" Please email us at support@museresearch.com the files: "Installation Log.txt" "Patch and Bank Assignments.txt" and "System Log.txt" We will try to understand what happened.

After upgrading from 1.2 to 1.3, I lost all of my factory and user multis and singles. I've attached the reports folder in my e-mail to support.

I've backed up the original bank and patch folder. Do I simply replace the folder with my backup?

We have seen the factory patches disappear in some cases, but we have not seen any multis or singles created by the user disappear. That's new.

We are trying to find the problem and come up with a fix. In the mean time you can restore the banks you want by copying the entire bank (or banks) to the "Drop Installers Here" folder, then press on Install.

I didn't lose my user patches; I lost the factory ones. So where can I find a fresh copy of the factory patches to drop in there?

We figured out the problem and we are working on a fix. In a few days we will post the fix and you will get the factory banks back.

The fix is now available in the Plugorama updates section (actually a new v1.3 build).
