Good to have this forum.

I have the same problem with no count in during loop record. I thought I was going crazy as I couldn't figure out why this feature wasn't working.

Fix it!

Can't believe this  I wasted my 666th post on a bump  with no mention of genitalia or hatred towards fellow forumites  and I even included pretty words  now I'll never get to hell.

(nice work on that post count, subject :D keep it up!)

Btw RMS/Mackie while you're at this issue - it would be so much better if turning on loop recording wouldn't make the playhead jump to the loop region start.

Thanks & sunny days,

If we had that we wouldnt be in this mess. Becuase you could just put the playhead towards the end of the loop, then start recording when it goes to the begining. Thats how T1 was. The new way sucks donkey balls. I H8 it.

Yep, or then just start recording from before the loop region, and T would punch in at the region start and start looping.

I really can't work with looping as it is. Lucky I've got eXT as I've got a friggin timetable for a song, first time in my life... no time to fuuk around :(

I sure would!!! It completley blows for midi now. I do probably 85% midi, 15% audio. Which means its blowing a large percentage of the time.

Besides, The singers I work with got skills. They get it right in the first or second take. :D ;)

I'm sure I've replyed to a different thread about this before. Yeah, of course its a good idea.

how does that translate to patches/updates ? I guess this is a general question as to 'is there a Mackie-endorsed list of features that are being worked on' ? (apologies if this has been covered elsewhere) as something being clearly a good idea and it being commited to being done are 2 very different things
