It is all set-up corretly as sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

When I first open T2 and load up my tune I get no sound out of any battery channel.
Known bug; irritates the hell out of me. It's known as the "rack initialisation bug" and it's been around for ages. I'm sure it is being worked on though.

That said, you don't need to keep reopening edits, just click on the rack filter on a track, and toggle one of the input/output settings (IE set 'left channel comes from' to something other than teh current setting, then set it back again. Generally this'll wake th rack up without any problems.
Just realized this is probably the problem I've been having with my Kontakt 2 racks recently.

My quick-fix is to simply drag a MIDI input arrow to one of the tracks where the rack resides, then remove it again. You don't have to input anything -- the connection itself seems enough to wake the rack up.

Not a part of the loudness war!

I too had this problem with Battery 2 for a while but it stopped happening. (touch wood)

I also, put a "DropFix" filter inside all my racks, dunno if that does anything tho!!!

I think the bug is edit specific. I've found that on some edits it'll happen every time, whereas racks in other edits will never give me any grief.

I've tried comparing the actual trkedit text files of edits that exhibit or do not exhibit the bug, but I can't see for the life of me what is different.

I guess, unless I'm missing something subtle, that this means the bug is something internal to Tracktion when opening edits, but it seems to be fairly consistent in manner.
Someone shot the food. Remember: don't shoot food!

Odd

I've been using B2/T2 with multiple outs......no probs.

Scoops
I have a really fast computer, some good mics, vintage musical instruments, and lots of fancy software. Just need some talent
