Hi Kenneth, those are 'phatmatik pro' ready files. Those loops will work in phatfree(KVR/CM) as well. But they won't work in the plain phatmatik, which only supports the rex format.

ChineeErhu should arrive in the rather near future, but we cannot give out a fixed date...

What about a demo or a sample set to tryout ?

There used to be a special phatfree version for kvr in the very early days, but it's probably not avilable any more. CM used to have phatfree included with their discs, but, again, I'm not sure if it's still carried in the current issues. Anyhoo, you can use those loops as normal wave files in any slicer available.

Have received ChineeKong V2, have installed, am going to go nuts with this! An extraordinary collection.

One point: in the installer for the soundset, there is an option to specify a directory for the soundfiles. In the dialogue box, after choosing a custom directory, the "OK" and "Cancel" buttons (I'm guessing on the English titles) are only represented by Chinese characters (pardon me for not knowing the correct attribution for this, hope I don't offend with any lack of knowledge). Everything else appears to have been correctly translated (for English-speaking users) except this items.

I *did* guess correctly, pressed what I thought was "OK" and did an install. Hope this helps in your product, doesn't seem like it would be a difficult fix...

I should have worded that more appropriately.

Those charachters in the installer are most likely all scrambled, since most systems are not capable of reading it without installing some optional language pack or something...

Perhaps a strange request, but you say the VSTi contains Luo(Gongs), NaoBo(Cymbals), GuZu(Drum sets), BanBang(Wood Percussion), ZhongLing(Bells), and QiTa(MISC). Would it be possible to have some simple pictures and desciptions of them?
(Wasn't included in the help file)

I can find some info about some instruments, but not all. Would some-one care to make such a list?

Hi MrM. The problem is that we didn't take pictures of them when recording, so now it's rather hard to do it from the scratch all over again - say, some of the original recordings were actually recorded live in the wild.

We'll see what we can do. Perhaps I will start a thread with some pics and add them up gradually...
