I got a BCF2000 and a BCR2000 to use with tracktion 2.
Got them used... when they boot up they show 1.03 both.
So I decided upgrade them...
I got the update tool from behringer... got the midi usb drivers... got the usb connection with my bcf2000 and got this with the 1.10:
BCF2000 update file selected.
Checking MidiPorts...
Writing Block 1/17 ...timeout ERROR
The hardware is not longer conected to your computer
--------------------------------
DANGER!!!
DO NOT SWITCH OFF YOUR B-CONTROL NOW
There were errors while flashing the OS.
Retry it now!
If you do switch off now your B-Control is only refreshable with a standard MIDI Interface but not working with USB anymore
Then when I try with the 1.07 one.. I got no communication. I tried the 1.07 at first.
What should I do you think ?
Thanks

Hehe I tried before with USB and it says "upgrade to 1.05 your version is to old..." when I it the scan button.
Wow... I think going from 1.03 to 1.07 or 1.10 is bad for it. I should go 1.03, then 1.04 or 1.05 then go for 1.07 to 1.10.
Could somebody send me the old files please ? I can't find them anywhere on the behringer site.
My e-mail address is plg79@hotmail.com
I appreciate it... thanks...
And if it not work... I will have to buy a midi card to try without the USB mode ?

Yep I got all of those... tried directly midi without the usb mode... S4 like they said.
It says : "memory can't be read & written 1xe0384820 blablabla"
Well... it seem I'm gonna hate those used BCx2000...
When you got them where you on 1.03 firm ?
I will try on another computer, sometimes application give different result on differents setups...
It there another way to flash them with another midi application protocol ?
Thanks for helping me I appreciate it

Will use soon my sleeping BCR2000... does it worth it too with tracktion 2 ? Can it works with the 4 band EQ ?

I use the Mackie the MC-C emulation. What MCU exactly mean ?
And I don't know wich setup to use to put the BCR in the midi loop. I Mean... I don't use the usb input on the bcf to drive tracktion. I use an edirol usb to midi interface linked to my bcf. So the bcf works in midi only mode... I will for shure discover wich S1 to S4 setup to use to get both working on the same midi interface (edirol UM-1)... BCF + BCR. Then I will discover wich setup to use to get the BCR over VST.
