Sorry, I thought I remembered a thread in the last few months proclaiming your status as a tester...rpc9943 wrote:what do i have to do with betatesting?

Perhaps it was a joke that whizzed right over my head?
How about this then...while your suggestion is a good one about adding hard drive space, your attitude toward the original poster sucks. Had you run up against this particular bug yourself, I'm sure we would have heard about it ad nauseum in multiple threads.
There is simply no excuse for T2 not to inform you that an error has occurred in export or render.

I think this just about sums it up.bk wrote: How about this then...while your suggestion is a good one about adding hard drive space, your attitude toward the original poster sucks. Ron is intolerant but I seem to remember that he's ill or something so you can make allowances...

I've always assumed yes, never tested though.chimmy wrote:If 'only render selected tracks' is chosen, is the Master Buss included or not? I've always assumed no, because the choice specifically states 'only render selected tracks'. Does anyone know for certain off hand? Otherwise it's easy enought to test.

I run a mobile rig that depends on buss power for running the hard drive, I also need the highest rpm that I can get which is 7200rpm. The only option with these conditions is a 60gig drive by lacie, it is not cheap.todd sweetland wrote:i second the bigger hard drive.... they re cheaper n cheaper these days
Under certain circumstances space is going to be a premium.

<totally off-topic> This is a very dangerous way to work. If this drive fails, everything may be lost (and Murphy's Law says it will happen with the most crucial of files), regardless of your backup habits. I'd rethink this as a storage scheme. </totally off-topic>Mr. Tingle wrote:I have losts of drive space and lots of partitions of all the different projects in use (clients/mine/junk etc). I just have this (false) impression that I'll never run out of space.

I do back archives to dvd when they are finished. If the drive fails before I'll put it down to destiny.dealwithit wrote:<totally off-topic> This is a very dangerous way to work.
