Not sure whethet this has come up before or not, but when you go to the home recording magazine review of t2 from the Mackie website, (a review from september 2005)the review bloke is harping on about not having a mixer but follows with the comment:

"i was also told they are working on a mixer window for a future update" :-o

i suppose the option may be nice. A while back i was having real problems trying to mix 60+ tracks at once. not an easy task without folder tracks. In cases like this one or both options would have been nice. Generally however i am happy with vector mixing.

I agree that folder tracks will be nice, but there IS the option of sub-mixing in the existing Tracktion already, so while I agree that making micro changes to 60+ tracks COULD get fiddly, it doesn't have to.

In whatever other hosts have been around for ages, there haven't always been folder tracks, either, and some of them have had piss-poor 'mixers' from hell.
