Actually there is a solution. A bit awkward, but still a solution. Connect a USB mouse to Receptor.

Actually, it's working now. I selected the command for the right mouse button in the hidden feature thing. That seems to have done it. The command button works now, too. Also, I was just pointing out what I tried since I have no idea how the Remote app works. I tried every "Mac combo click" I could so that I better informed the forum. I wasn't "dis'ing" it or anything. I can live without it working altogether. I wouldn't let a 30 Euro VST get me upset.DanTimis wrote: I was trying to explain the differences between the Mac and PC. In Windows, a right click is a "right click", it is not a combination of a modifier key (shift, control, option, command) and a left click.
The Mac comes with a one button mouse. You can buy a third party mouse that has a right button, but when you write Mac software you have to assume that many of your customers might have a one button mouse. So most Mac software uses simple-click, shift-click, control-click, and so on; those can be achieved with a one button mouse.
If you use a two or three button mouse on the Mac, most of the time the right click is translated into control-click. Receptor Remote is based on a Mac program called VNCThing. VNCThing was written with the Macintosh look and feel and as a result the right click is always tranlated into a left click plus modifier key combination, or ignored. The right click is never passed along to Receptor as a pure "right-click"
The fix is not trivial. It is on our list, with medium priority. So a fix will not be available in the very near future.
When I got home, I went straight to the Receptor and went looking for that effect to try that thing you mentioned and to my surprise, it wasn't there! It was on the hard drive but not in the effects list. So, I dragged it back out, put it back in and reinstalled and it was back. The only thing that I noticed was this particular dll has a period in the name. Would that cause it to disappear? The name is: dblue.Glitch
So, take your time on the fix. I'm happy with what I have. I need nothing. Wants can come later on.
Thanks.
EDIT - I forgot to mention that I used a LogiTech 3-button scroll wheel mouse. I didn't remap the buttons at all. As it is, stock, the left button is normal, the right is command-click and the center is control-click.
Death to all dongles!

WOW!. I was the one who misunderstood how Receptor Remote works. If you choose control-click for the right mouse button, then control-click with the left button is translated into right click, and right click is also transmitted as a right click.
However, if you do this you lose control-click. Control-click in Receptor resets sliders to their defaul value. For instance, if you pan hard right or left, then control-click anywhere on the pan slider, the pan will jump to center. If you set the "Right Button" to "Nothing" you can use control-click to reset slider, if you set it to "Control" then you can use the right button.
I hope this table will make it clear:
You can also use command, and then you can still use control-click to reset sliders.
