ProSounds PS-1 Synth works
http://www.kvraudio.com/get/1194.html
I had a little wierdness calling up some patches after I installed it, but after doing a reboot and rebuilding the plug-in cache everything seems to be working fine with this synth.
I did have rename the PS-1.DDL file to PS-1.dll before receptor would see it in unsupported plugins.
I bought this some months ago, and some add-on banks with it. I wasn't all that impressed at the time, but now that I hear it again, this is an EXCELLENT SYNTH. Very flexible, capable of a wide range of sounds. Sort of like EVE on steriods with a much nicer GUI. The Tim Conrady bank is, all always, simply excellent!
*** EDIT: After playing with this one some more, there is definitely a little wierdness going on with the GUI. Caution is advised! (Though it still sounds nice, long as you don't try to edit using the GUI you are fine) ****

I don't know why I haven't tried these before, but Luxonix Ravity(R) and Ravity(S) both work and register just fine:

I could not get Ravity(S) to work under 1.3 or 1.4 BETA. Is there a "trick" I should know? I just moved the whole "Ravity" folder to Unsupported Plugins and the install said "failed".
Thanks in advance!

Ben,
Perhaps you installed the demos (which don't contain the copy-protection, and does contain that annoying periodic white-noise blast)?
I have been able to install the demos of Ravity(S), but not the full versions (with copy-protection). I recieved the same 'failed' message as Hybernation.
Regards,
KTL
PS. The Luxonix authors expressed to me no intent in receptorizing Ravity. This was a let-down, since I assumed that the full version would work.

I'm talking about the full versions.
I had trouble with them failing at first when simply copying the whole (already registered) folder over to Receptor so I tried starting from scratch.
I installed both R and S to a new folder on my PC (but didn't unlock them by entering my user / serial), I then copied the clean folder over to Receptor's unsupported folder and installed them. They both asked for the user and serial number, which I entered and they both registered and work fine!!
The only problem to be aware of is they are v1.1.1 as Luxonix haven't sent me updated NFRs (I've requested them so I'll try with v1.4.3 when/if they do).

I had no trouble getting the Ravity plugs going, following Ben's instructions. Nice addition to the Receptor.
In addition, though someone reported it as not working, I have Clone Ensemble registered and working just fine.
Revitar 1 works, too.
Microtonic works, sort of, but only as a tone module, and the graphics are screwy. The sequencer section doesn't seem to work. Still, the sounds themselves are good.
As reported earlier, Angelina works, though I couldn't seem to enter the authorization code, so no saving.
I can't believe I never tried these before, but both Tau Pro and Electron from Muon work very well, indeed. These fellers are a real bargain and sound absolutely stellar.
I've noted before (but it hasn't been put into the database) that the Computer Music freebies work: CM-101, DS-404, CM-303, CM-505 and SR-202 (this last is in the database). If they aren't on your receptor, go get a copy of the mag and put them in there. There is a wealth of material on the disc every month for the DS-404 sampler (though there is a lot for Kontakt every month too, so if you have Kompakt, you can run those patches).

YEP..it works..although a user here reported problems with the GUI display. But presets load fine. Have to check it out again. I made quite a few multi-presets for my receptor with it.TotcProductions wrote:Hey tim, sorry if i missed it in the list. ..but i know you've got our PS-1 Vsti...have you tried that on receptor???? Nice! Hmm....do you know how one goes about "Receportizing" a plugin? Is it done at the code level or a different way? Live performance was definitely one of the most prominent things in mind when we designed the PS-1....So having it work, with the GUI functionality and everything, would be ideal.tconrardy wrote:YEP..it works..although a user here reported problems with the GUI display. Also, if you have any multi-presets that you'd like to share/publish, please let us know, we'd be glad to host them on the website under the freesets page.
peace!

Tested Concrete FX Adder and Digital on receptor. Both works..but Adder can't load the waves, so most of the presets won't work. However all other functions work.
But Digital works great!!You can even change all the colors. Although Digital does not use FXP as it file format, you can still save whatever preset you are on via the multipreset or single preset functions of receptor.
