I'm expecting it to be released soon now that 1.4 beta has been released.

I'd like to get Kontakt 2 since Syncrosoft issues are holding Halion3 back. How's the performance on the Receptor for those who've installed it already?

PCP-80 (large + pedal resonance) loaded in at 64-sample buffer: no glitches in Kontakt 2, compared to Kompakt (256-sample buffer required for glitch-free performance).

Things are looking good, though there seems to be an issue with one of the Kontakt factory banks (unsupported character in bank name), but otherwise quite snappy.

I'm in the middle of installing. I'm not seeing any .nks files on the installation disks - only nks files. Am I missing something?

Theres a small correction which will be fixed soon on the installation instructions on Plugorama.

For Kontakt 2, please move all the contents within the "Kontakt 2 Library" folder on your installation disks to the "Kontakt 2 Library" folder on the receptor after installing the prep installer. There is i think around 15 folders in total on the 2 disks which includes a number of .nki, .nkm and .nkb files in the lowest levels of the folders.

There wont be any .nks files on you installation disks.

1.4b, 1.25GB RAM...K1000 MIDI to MT4 MIDI to Receptor x 2.

First try.
Loaded a piano I couldn't play glitch free on Kompakt.
No tweaks, no edits, played great on Kontakt 2.
Sweet.
