I'm sorry that it takes so long, but the reality is that we don't have an answer yet.

Some important factors in supporting a plug-in are being able to have a deal with the developer, technical issues (does the plug-in run without major problems?), and how desirable it is. I don't think we will have a problem with the developer. We did not receive a lot of requests for it, so it is not at the top of our list, but we are considering it. The remaining question is how well does it run, and we don't know that yet.

In a week or two we will know how well it runs. "Official" support will not happen immediately because we have other plug-ins that were requested more, for instance Camelion. But, if it runs fine we may be able to help you install it as an unsupported plug-in, before releasing it as a supported plug-in.

Again, I apologize for not being able to answer you right away. In a week or two I will report on how well it runs.
ok. thanks. that's all I've been looking for is some indication that it is being looked into. Official support isn't necessary, though it would be nice. But, I think that a version whose authorization doesn't require the registry will be necessary, though, right? In any case, the Virsyn products perhaps don't get as many requests as some because they are relatively expensive, and have a bit of a learning curve. But they are among the highest quality products out there.

Have posted this elsewhere, but....
I'd love to see:
1. Synthogy Ivory (available on PC soon)
2. Electrik Piano
3. The new NI guitar amp simulators (as opposed to the full blown Guitar rig)
4. Synthogy Ivory (Yeah, I know..)

I, too, would go out and buy one today if it supported SampleTank. Instead, I might have to go out and get Open Labs neKo 64. A few grand more but it does come with SampleTank (which I already own).

Post

My votes: Moog Modular V, Sonic Synth 2, Reaktor, Kontakt, Pluggo, Ivory.

Ivory could be dangerous, as the nature of the beast would tempt you to play in ways Receptor may not handle...

Sample Tank, Sonik Synth 2, and Kontakt should be available soon. Reaktor and Pluggo should follow at a later time.

We would love to support Moog Modular V, but right now it does not look like it is going to happen soon - you should post this request on the Arturia forum. Ivory is not yet available in Windows VST format, AFAIK.

I would like to wish for the following plugins:

Arturia Vintage (all)
NI Battery 2
NI Elektrik Piano
NI Akoustik Piano
Kjaerhus Golden line (all)
PSP MasterQ
PSP EasyVerb

And if I was to mention a new developer, maybe some of the Nomad Factory plugins? They have several cool bundles...

Post

another vote for NI Battery 2

At the summer NAMM tascam showed off a vst called gigapulse it would bee awsome to have it running on receptor...

See the introdution Movie here... http://www.sonicstate.com/news/shownews.cfm?newsid=2251

And by the way... another vote for kontakt 2, sample tank 2, sonik synth, reaktor 5 and akoustik piano from here....

Post

Another for GigaPulse !!!! I have the VST-Version, but i think it wont work on receptor because of the Licence Manager and several reg-entries. But pleeeese receptorize ist pleeese !!! The Receptor would Emulate an 5000,- Reverp-Prozecor

The Vienna Library is just samples. You need Kontakt 2, and then you can open and use them.

Not any more Dan, they've just announced the Vienna Instrument.

I agree that Arturia's Moog Modular V virtual synth is the most awesome and potentially powerful virtual synth I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I very much want to put in into my Muse Receptor. Has anyone tried to install it as an "unsupported plugin"? Does anyone know if it can be done and if so, how?

My vote is for this product to get a higher priority.

Also, I would love to see someone develop an Oberheim 8 Voice Modular virtual synth. Anyone else agree?
