Authorising East West/NI software

I've basically got my head around the Receptor and iLok now. However, I cannot understand how one authorises, for instance, Ra in a the familiar way it is accomplished on my Macs or PC. I've downloaded the installer from Plugorama, everything has gone in correctly;the samples are all there and it works, except it comes up with the alert informing I have 14 days to authorise:the same as if one were running it from a computer.

The problem is,and please feel free to call me stupid, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to authorise it from the Receptor, since the registration tool doesn't behave or comply in the same way as on a "normal" computer. I trawled through pages of the forums, and Plugorama's own site, but nowhere can I see in step-by-step plain English how this is acheived.

I expect it's something embarrassingly simple (in which case, I'LL be calling myself stupid),but can anyone please tell me how to authorise the East West/NI products, before I install anything more from them?

Thanks. :?

Hi strawinsky,

On the RA page at Plugorama the last step links to the Guide to Authorizing NI Plug-ins on Receptor.

Did you follow that? If not, could you take a look? If so, which part is not working?

cheers

OK,Ben,did that successfully, but would point this out. The copy and paste didn't work-no way nohow. So, I typed it in by hand, which did.A minor incovenience. Also, NI didn't send me an e-mail notification of the auth code, which they always have done so far. Just thought I'd keep you informewd there. Thanks.

Update on this: NI's e-mail did eventually come through, slower than usual.Xmas post...
