Having spent a while with this now I also have a few suggestions to consider that would, at least to me, improve useability.
1) Numerical parameters when turning knobs and sliders (maybe in the form of a tooltip) - this I feel is essential as so many subtle changes are interdependent in how the sound is expressed - even a very subtle change can have dramatic effects and I find it's hard to precisely tune or recapture elements of a sound when I don't have an exact number to go with it.
2) For some instrumental sounds - especially woodwinds and brass, I really feel the need for mono and legato modes so I can play in a more realistic manner.
3) I find the tunings display really fiddly to work with. Firstly I'd like to be able to draw a whole bunch of settings at once by sweeping across with the mouse instead of one at a time, secondly I need to be able to reset it all at once instead of laboriously one by one trying to get back to zero, thirdly using the mousewheel might be of help here too and fourthly why not have the ability to save and import tunings?
4) Full morphing between presets (like sculpture) would be wonderful - the model slider is a start but I get unpredictable results from it at the moment.
Here are the presets:
