Okay, so now I have a setup as you described. But I only get a reaction on the level meter on the "main MIDI track". Any suggestions?
On all subkit channels I have "Analog out" as output. What should I use on the "main MIDI track"?

Never mind. I put the sfz files in the wrong directory

i use dr008 which you can route out to i think 4 stereo outs... asked around until people made dr8 kits and went from there

Now you can put different EQs or comps in each subkit and then route them all together to a "drums submix" channel. Ain't T great?
