All this sounds very promising MW, but I suggest that you don't wait too long before making "official" statement or update the website; and release some info such as release date and some pics of the new GUI... If you believe your product is way ahead of others, present it and advertise it at least as others do...
I agree totaly with you.
I tried not to talk about these things atm,
but I also didnt want to leave people too much in the dark.
About the wah, it would be great to have parameters to control the Q/range and the frequency of the wah! I think you already did the classic Cry-Baby, but if you can put your hands on one of those, maybe for an update?
I rather like to add different WahWah's over time.
Its all about getting as close as possible to the real thing.
A custom Wah with Q/range and the frequency can also be added at a later time.

To create those or other sound caracters,
is YOUR job, not the amp job.
er... kind of a quick response here. Maybe the thin sound has something to do with the fact it is played in 1972 through a TREBLE booster (as I mentionned !). I was talking of the bite of the wah, that is to say, the aggressive action it has on the sound while the pedal is sweeping... it really has to do with the pedal (not the eq), and it wasn't a crybaby. I don't remember being able to achieve this with a crybaby (I don't have one at disposition currently).
No, not really.
TREBLE booster is cool but so old already ?

Anyway 1972 there were the same amps guitars more or less like today.
It was the sound engineer who was responsible for the final sound most of the time.
Creativity was and still is the key.

Win the amp !
The Website must still be done.

Rules:
Make the MAIN Soundspectral amp web page. (one page)
(including link buttons/menue to other pages.)
It should look esthetic(nice), easy for the eye.

I quite like the look of:
http://www.tc-helicon.com/
http://ag-works.net/default.asp?page=plugins.goodies
Just to give you an idea.

Please post your designs links here or PM them to me.

The design that will be used, will win and get the amp.
(the moment it is relased.)

All entries will get ONE special amp model,
that will NOT be included in the initial release.
(but can be added to it.)

So everyone making one page, can win something. ;)
---------------------------------------------------

no offense Rene, but your last two posts seem like thinking on the fly and double talk too me...what's wrong with your web page now? It was suggested that you update it...imo it's as good or better (appearance wise)...than voxengo....and voxengo products are so good they sell themselves....the web page is just the place to buy it, as long as that works all is fine...

your page needs contact info to start, if anyone buys a pluggin from someone with no contact info then I got a few skyscrapers and a bridge or two they might want to buy.

For over a year it seems that all you said was "I" this and "I" that...then it was mentioned that when you first started you had partners...suddenly it's we :?: :?:

You have been telling us about it since the summer of 04, but you keep coming up with changes in course that would seem more delay in release time...you've gone off on tangents, then come back. Like Xmas tube

Remember in the AVOX thread where you said you were able to make a pluggin like AVOX? (you know that ones that are suspended on your page) There you stated it was easy to make a version in less than half an hour...though xmas tube may sound okay, it didn't have much to it....really it looks too me like it was a quickly made up sim to quiet the masses. I mean if you can create something like the AVOX pluggins in half an hour what did the xmas tube take...an hour?

I say this constructively, but your lack of consistency and lack of releasing anything but a small little pluggin, your changing course (the partner thing leaves a very bad taste in my mouth) I actually am starting to agree with CR...I think it's a fair statement to say after a year and a half "shit or get off the pot"

The "design me a free page and I'll give you a free pluggin" seems like another stall tactic. I wont even go into the fact that imo you need to own, be able to test, sample and expiriment with every model you intend on simulating (mp3s from people here as to what an amp sounds like...c'mon dude  ). Just curious about these partners....they do not play guitar? Obviously not because you need the help of others here. They can't know much about web pages because you need someone to design your web page. They can't know much about business because I dont see you making them any money on this after a year and a half. Do they really exist?

As I said you have yet to prove yourself as a businessman, every time I look at this thread I see more examples pointing to the fact that you might not have a clue about running a business. If that isn't the case then this has scam written all over it, I prefer to believe you are an honest guy and wouldn't scam us (perhaps you partners know someone with some business sense to help you get things back on track)...so please get on with it or get over it... :?

Just curious on the business side...do you have a business plan, or are you just making it up as you go? How about a mission statement? Most businesses start there, with those two things...how about some pictures of you and your partners, an address for your business ("not far from" like in your profile is not good enough)...we couldn't even email you, just pm you through here. Besides xmas tube, what proof can you offer that this business exists?

:hihi: I pull for the little guy...I like doing business with small businesses, not huge corporations...so I would like to see Rene make it...imo the more small developers that make it puts pressure on the big guys to stay on their game and it's a win/win...but when I was just a wee lad my father told me "don't take any wooden nickles". I will never apologize for being a tough customer, because I am..I can be the best customer when treated fairly, but treat me bad and I'm like a pit bull, once my jaws lock I don't let go, and I don't take wooden nickles..;)

Though I was serious about my post I'm actually in a very sacrastic state of mind right now...you wanna talk about running for cover...this nursing home my dad is recovering in left him sitting in his wheel chair in his underwear Sunday...finally he called me and I had to go dress him...Monday morning I was serious Hink on them, trust me...:hihi:

Hink, thanks but you have ears, but you wrote you did'nt even listen to the mp3 demos.
So you simply dont know what you are talking about.
Dont understand or heard why the new engine changed everything.
Also you wrote that you deleted XmasTube....
Thats up to you, but shows how little you seam to know about amp sims.
(Amp sims, not multifx or PODs)

XmasTube was the result of many month of work and
needed 5 people to become a reality.

Wow you skirted every one of my points...my post had very little to do with sound...but the lack of development and lack of anything..now you go on the defensive and say I do not know what I'm talking about??????? I think you may have just proved that I do know what I am talking about...I deleted it because I had no use for it

Rene maybe you know about developing amp sims, but I do know about guitars and amps...you don't...I do know about business...you don't...I said no offense to start and said that I was being constructive in my criticism of your business practice, I then replied I hoped you would make it...and you turned that around into an attack on me? :x :x :x :x :x :x

Many have use for it and managed to make it sound quite different.;)

Where did I attack you please ?
If you felt like it, I did not mean to.

Since I am able to spend and affort such a long time
developing, I cant have been that bad in business before. ;)

I got the Xmas tube sent to me because I missed the download. Itwas good, but it wasn't THAT spectacular - not in the same way that you've built it up.

None of us need to be f**ked around Rene. There is plenty of that going on in the real world. Present a product or don't. Don't cocktease us with mp3's and screenshots that keep changing. We need something tangible. I get the feeling a lot of people are ignoring this product now, and why shouldn't they? You've been pissing on our shoes for far too long now.

Get your act togeher.

done using XmasTube and the discussion about it. ;)

All I remember seeing is you popping into the Amplitube thread and calling it shit, and then pimping your own work, and then using your trademark winky smiley to try to deflect any criticism of you.
