Wow! Thanks for the fast reply.
At which sample rate does the 128 bufffer work flawlessly? On my imac, and I suspect anywhere else, the higher sample rates decrease latency quite a bit.

Dan- How much memory does Ivory take up? I am trying to see how much ram I will have left over to run other instruments..I am assuming the installer will work for ivory 1.5? I can't find 1.0 in stores anymore...

About Ivory's RAM consumption:

Bos290, 10 velocity level, everything loaded except for the pad

Buffer = Large - 47% of 2G RAM
Buffer = Mid - 40% of 2G RAM
Buffer = Small - 34% of 2G RAM

The Steinway and C7 need less memory.

Everything works fine, except that my "grace period" for Ivory in Receptor is now only 2 days left. I hope that we can get an official verion very soon.

Dan, How does Ivory sound summed to mono coming out of receptor? There are a lot of sound guys that don't like running keyboards in stereo, and after many a heated debate, I'm beginning to see their point. My yamaha p250 sounds terrible in mono. Can I play Ivory summed to mono (y cable) without that muffled, hollow out of phase sound?

I have Ivory, Have not tried it in mono either.I can tell you when instantiating ivory on my imac, the program (ivory) gives me a choice of stereo or mono. I doubt they would put that feature in there and allow it to suck .

You can adjust the stereo image of the Ivory, from 100% stereo to totally mono, with its built-in knob. These guys know what they're doing, and the result is very satisfying from what I heard when playing it myself.
