Oh, wait... nobody made that claim. D'oh! Am I ever stupid sometimes.
Reason 3 is simply awesome.

I think you are reading a lot more into that than is actually there. I was merely pointing out that none of the artists listed would sway me in the least. I couldn't care less what they used as I find the results appalling.FaX wrote:I appreciate your opinion but claiming the BlackEyedPeas track was shite purely because it used Reason is a cop out.
Well, seems we are still having trouble separating good from popular. Surely the McDonalds analogy spelled it out clearly enough even for you? And for the record, we never sought any kind of record deal, we are not interested in selling albums except in as far as it helps us to get gigs. I've never in my life sent a demo to anyone, largely because I really don't care. Yet somehow we have albums aviailable on three different labels in different parts of the world and we get royalty cheques twice a year. Imagine what we might be able to achieve if we were actually interested in all that shit? BTW, no member of my family has ever heard any of my recorded output. Ever. And we get 25 CD's from each label to give to people we know who ask so they don't have to buy them either.spaceman wrote:and to put this into perspective...
... but I guess because YOU don't like it them must be crap/untalented. If you only had 1% of their talent you wouldn't be here trolling like a pathetic little twat. Your music is shit mate and your production skils are non-existing. You probably only sell your records to your family and to skater twats or jobless punk twats with 2 brain cells.. the kind of people you'd be happy to slag off here on kvr
And if you want some decent reviews, try this. Even I didn't think it was that good.

So you're good... while everyone who actually communicates through their music, moves their audience and touches lives is merely popular (but by implication rubbish). Sorry dude but that just sounds delusional.BONES wrote: Well, seems we are still having trouble separating good from popular.
It generally works the other way around, because most artists want there music to last.we are not interested in selling albums except in as far as it helps us to get gigs.
Course you don'tI've never in my life sent a demo to anyone, largely because I really don't care.
So which of the three labels isn't paying you?Yet somehow we have albums aviailable on three different labels in different parts of the world and we get royalty cheques twice a year.
Oh, you'd probably be dominating the airwaves, winning grammys, etc. But you don't want to profit in any way, you shun success, fame and money, because they're just SOOO uncool.Imagine what we might be able to achieve if we were actually interested in all that shit?
CrumbsBTW, no member of my family has ever heard any of my recorded output. Ever.
Nothing personal Bones, but if you deliberately go out of your way to insult other KVRers and trash threads simply for the sake of being a prat then you are setting yourself up to be insulted right the way back. I've not listened to your music, I've not tried out your VST plugins, and have no intention of doing so ... because I tend to respect and support developers and musicians who have a constructive approach. You have simply behaved on this thread like an arrogant tosser.

Can you give me any i mean a SINGLE ONE song from Jarre which is completed in Reason? Now i dont mean to discredit him no way for christ sake. He is genie. But anyway give me one simple song, loop a single beat from him which is exported from Reason.headquest wrote: Cubase is used by clever musicians such as The Scorpions, who can play their guitars Very Fast Indeed. Reason though is used by silly people who can't tell the difference between truth and hype - foolish non-musicians like, well, Jean Michel Jarre and the Black Eyed Peas.![]()
Realy i dont give a f*** what will someone say as long as i cant hear something about same. Someone from you will remember that there is a guy at Propellerhead song archive with song remarkable(as someone will say) close to his original Oxygene. Well this artist is Pixar. Song is realy good but when you compare it to original you will laugh to death when you hear difference in sound. I can share that .rps file if someone need to compare it.
So please dont put Jarre credits to this thread which is stupid anyway...

kmonkey, that post was meant as sarcasm.
But Jarre has notably said in an interview (was in Sound on Sound? Computer Music? Don't remember...) that he uses Reason. So it's not all that ridiculous either, you see.

...but as you ask, the title track from Jarre's latest album was done entirely in Reason on his laptop whilst on a long haul flight.
