emcee wrote:I can also add that the latest demo version of Wusikstation (2.2.1) installs, but after you complete the install Receptor reboots, and then after you load the Instrument it won't let go.. ie, switch to another instrument, Receptor reboots and restarts with Wusikstation right where you left it. Only way to "remove" it is to delete the files & folder from \Program Files\VSTplugins\Unsupported PLugins\ and restart receptor holding the Multi button down to force a rescan. Shame, as its a kick ass plugin

yep...but ver 1.x works great on it

Though the plug-in itself isn't new, Antti @ Smartelectronix has release a beta4 of his Taurus plug-in that has an excellent gui, and still works GREAT on receptor.

Check it out and donate if you like it (and how could you NOT like it! ;-))

Tim,

Have you had any luck trying to get Sytrus working as an unsupported? This synth is really phat and need to run on Receptor!

Tim,

Could you please layout the directory structure. I can't seem to get Wusik to find its data files.

all I did was first install wusik on my PC, then copied the whole thing over to the unsupported folder and Installed it.No problems. so..its all in a folder called WusikStation in the unsupported folder.

and I could not get Sytrus to work either..

LinPlug's new Sophistry works ok on Receptor.

No big surprise, since it's a "CronoX3 instrument" with new samples and a facelift.

Folks I am happy to report that I have Wusikstation V3B100 working on Receptor. It was a little flakey at first, but I tweaked some stuff and now it's working just as flawlessly as my old Manystation.dll (V1.x) !

Maybe TC or someone else could try this too. Perhaps I am dreaming. This thing sounds awesome.

After getting it to work I spent several hours playing with your T3-TSW banks. Great stuff!

FYI, Wusik3 did crash Receptor a few times, but it was just that quick 10 second restart. Seems like it was always when I was using the patch browser window. So, I take back what I said about it being as stable as 1.X, but it is QUITE usable.

Wusikstation 2.2 definitely does not work with 1.5, although it listed as known to work/unsupported. It will install but will not run. This was confirmed by WilliamK at Wusik.

By the way, what is the process for getting plugins officially supported on Receptor? As I understand the Wusik situation, they don't own a Receptor and so can't debug their plugin. If it's all up to Muse, then, how does Muse prioritize this work? Any way that Receptor owners might be able to get a peek at what's in the pipeline?

Thanks,

What did you have to tweak?
