How is the pipa different from zheng. Are they not a little similar?
Are there any other instruments planned? Like maybe the famous BanDi that we have heard in millions of TV and Hollywood film scores (Hearts of Asia). But it is an old library now and we need better recording, more velocity layers, more articulations.

ChineeWinds has some very extensive BangDi patches already with various expressions/articulations - I believe it's the same thing as the BanDi you mentioned. You'll have a hard time finding a library that can reach the level of ChineeWinds, no matter what price range it is.
It's believed that both Zheng and Pipa have the same origin way back in history, but each has evolved along different path thereafter.
Zheng is really unique sounding - unfortunately many Westerners only know about its sibling, the Japanese Koto.
Pipa, OTOH, was heavily influenced by Persian culture during the Tang dynasty. It's a bit similar to Lute as the result. Pipa is one of the major traditional Chinese instruments that are still widely popular in China today.

Di (means "flute" literally) is a term that can be used loosely for referring to various types of flutes. ChineeWinds contains several different types of Dizi's, plus a DongXiao.
