i thought you simply forgot to add the presets,
since the names are there but do no action.

The processing works like a linked compressor, in that the max absolute value of the pair is enveloped. However, how they respond to the processing depends on that actual data each side, which can go up as high as +13dBFS before a softlimiter catches it
If there are wild variations in the input, there may be wilder variations on the output. However, I'd like a look to see if it can be tamed if there is a problem!

Indeed.. one of the quirks I mentioned and kind of like as it makes this plugin unpredictable.
