ok thanks for this precisionYou're bringing up a lot of stuff here, but I must disappoint you: All modules + algorithms (combs, generators, effects) were written from scratch, except for envelopes and the lfos, which I took from my existing library. The gui library wasn't written from scratch as well, naturally, it's the same as in all my recent plugs.

Yep, I had only 5 choices to vote for, and UB took precedence, with u-he taking precedence over them ALL!tylenol wrote:Not to mention macintel people, who (if I'm at all representative), felt pretty uncared about in this competition. I realize that many of the submitters might not have the resources to do real cross-platform development, but not even all the mac people provided UBs. It would have been awfully interesting to know the breakdown of the voters, and how much (if at all) this skewed the votes.pdxindy wrote: It is also working for Macs. All the Mac voters only had like 5 choices so every Mac vote is going to vote for Triple Cheese in one slot or other unless they pick something only by description.
Congrats Urs! You are the man.

I admit that this question popped up for me as well a while ago.CWoodOne wrote:How come Urs can make UB files all by himself, but NI with 140 people can't?
Now, some of NIs plugins seem to be quite more complicated (Kontakt for instance), in addition, they're always doing standalones (which should be a no brainer...) and RTAS versions. But still...
There are 3 kinds of people:
Those who can do maths and those who can't.
Those who can do maths and those who can't.

Perhaps a lot of those people are in support, marketing and sales, who knows?CWoodOne wrote:How come Urs can make UB files all by himself, but NI with 140 people can't?

They should be making coffee, running errands, and getting pizza for the coders who do all the real work then.wonshu wrote:Perhaps a lot of those people are in support, marketing and sales, who knows?CWoodOne wrote:How come Urs can make UB files all by himself, but NI with 140 people can't?
