The whole issue is the worse side of "c/r" scheme. Hopefully in event of Mackie failure a ***** will show. But perhaps it's just a web redesign now?

Perhaps Mackie staff work Monday to Friday like most of the rest of the country?mahtazz wrote:I'm really concerned about it.
Nobody from mackie explaining this situation here.
The webserver sucks - it's sucked for as long as I've been using it. This is, annoying, but it isn't a new and scary development.
Bitch about Mackie's flaky web hosting, sure, but please quit bitching that Beno isn't reading this forum 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Do you stand outside supermarkets at midnight, and fret that they have gone out of business cos someone turned the lights out?

I thought the point of a website is it is 24/7! There is no point having to make users logon to activate software and then not be able to logon - that's just stupid.

So just theoretically for a moment, if $teinberg does indeed own Mackie, and Tracktion can easily be considered direct competition for Cubase, what's stopping them from adapting some of the strong features from T into SX and then cutting T?
