DK+ on OS X?

I don't recall seeing this asked before (though it may well have) and a quick KVR search didn't show anything obvious, but are there any plans for an OS X port of DK+ (seeing as DKS Pro is cross-platform)? Now that I've got a Mac, I'm looking at only getting plugins available on both platforms.

I don't think that DK+ can be easily ported to Mac.
The code base (which I wrote about 8 years ago) was not written with portability in mind.
DK+ is an entry level product and the big numbers are on the Windows market, I suppose.
This is just my opinion, I don't work on the DK+ anymore.
Do you think that could be space on the MAC market for a similar entry level product?

I don't really know, because maybe a lot of Mac users are used to paying for better than entry level products. What I do know, now that I've had a bit of a look around, is that I can find no entry level universal binary sample-based drum machine for OS X. There are maybe some older ones, but they appear to PPC only. unfortunatley as Aldo wrote the DK+ code is based on an old Widnows only project,
maybe it's possible to build a UB version with less features od the DK+, E.G. is step sequencer needed?

Well, funnily enough I have just replied to Aldo in another thread where he asked for feature requests for the step sequencer in DKS Pro. I asked for it to have a MIDI out so that it could drive other plugins in a modular host (I use Bidule). blurk, the DK+ without the step sequencer is the old A0 DK1.

of course that would be almost totally unsellable on
Windows due to the freeware abbondance

Another thought...
Since half the people here seem to be confused about the name DKS Pro, maybe you need to create a DKS+ Pro that combines the two. I know that defeats the point of DKS Pro being synthesised only, but once it gets a step sequencer perhaps all it would need is an option for the pads to be Osc1 + Osc2 + Noise vs Sample, and I'd be set. Though I'll wonder if maybe allowing Osc1 to be a waveform or a sample would be interesting.
