Noticed the following on plugorama:
Due to a problem with the Kontakt version 2.1 update we have reverted the Receptor compatible installer available here to version 2.0 while the problem is investigated.
http://www.plugorama.com/customer/produ ... ductid=493
Are there any more details on the issues?
Todd.

Muse?
This is getting increasingly frustrating. There are current threads stating that still more new products are being ported over but yet, buggy updates have to be backed out for products that are currently supported.

Be aware that it is the same 2.1.1 installer as before. It is not a new one.
It shouldn't be used if you also have Akoustik piano installed as there are problems if they are both installed.

So it was just a compatibility problem with Akoustik panio that cause it to be pulled?

I have Akoustik Piano installed on my Receptor as well so I need to understand this.
Do I need to uninstall AP before installing Kontakt 2.1?
I understand that the AP library can be used by Kontakt so if I do have to uninstall AP, can I copy the AP library into the Kontakt sample subdirectory so I can use the samples?
Please provide additional details for users of AP and Kontakt so that we know what we can and cannot do.
Thank you.

I have Kontakt 2.1 installed on my Receptor. I'd like to use Akoustik Piano. Would I need to uninstall 2.1 and reinstall Kontakt 2.0 in order to install Akoustik Piano? Currently the Akoustik Piano installer "fails"

I'm bumping this older thread as the questions here (to my knowledge) are still unanswered, and I have Akoustik Piano and am thinking about adding Kontakt 2 to my Receptor. Currently, AP on my Receptor is not useable in live performace (it does not load samples with program changes from the front panel or from midi. It does load them from the GUI interface, but I'm not hauling that to a gig just for AP. (Though I must say AP seems to play better running on 1.6 Recptor OS.) Anyway, I'll reask the question - If I uninstalled AP and installed Kontakt 2 (as K2 seems to create problems with AP
)can I use AP sample libraries in K2? Thanks for any wisdom on this. Tom B

AP comes with instruments, NKI files, that you can load into Kontakt and play them. I do this and it works fine. I don't ever load AP - just the AP instrument files in K2. The features on the AP GUI like ambience and EQ are in K2 in the same way but with some playing around with Effects you could probably replicate anything in K2 that you could do using the GUI.

Sorry to jump in on this thread.
So, I have Kontakt II installed on the receptor but not AP (although I have it as part of K4).
Do the AP samples need to be authorized once loaded into KII and what version of KII is needed to support the AP samples?
