Receptor and AU support

Maybe this has been answered somewhere else before, but I have not been able to find any hint at the Muse Research web site...
Is there a roadmap to when the Receptor will be able to work with Logic? I mean this with direct AU support, no VST-wrapper and no beta solutions.
I am planning to buy a new Intel-Mac for my music production and I thought a Receptor might be a nice expansion to my ever growing use of sample libraries and soft synths.
A ballpark for a possible time schedule? Thanks in advance....

In another thread, we were told that Muse Research was still working on the UB version of the software used to communicate with Receptor. This was about a month ago.
I AM able to use the Receptor with my Intel-Mac & Logic Pro software, by the way. I have the Receptor hooked up to my simple computer network set-up. I am able to configure the Receptor using my aging Dell Precision Workstation. Then I simply use the Receptor from my new Intel-Mac via regular midi cable (MOTU's MTPAV) and digital audio outputs (MOTU's 2408 MK3). From Logic, I treat the Receptor like a regular external synth module device. This is a rock solid set-up. What is even cooler is that I am ALSO able to access sound libraries located on my aging Dell Workstation using Music Lab's MIDIoverLAN CP software!!! This is a GREAT software program which is UB ready. It does midi communication via the Ethernet between two or more computers INCLUDING the Apple and PC computers! Works great with Logic Pro, too! Very, very cool!
About once a week I visit the Muse Research/Plugorama web sites to see if the UB updated software is ready for download. In all honesty, my current set-up is working so well, I don't know if I need it right away.
(Oh heck. . . I am a software junky. I'm going to download it when it's ready! LOL!
)
The Receptor can easily be used from an Intel-Mac computer. A regular PC (with the current communication software) can set up your patches. If you don't have a PC, then it can be done manually. I have to admit, though, that I've never tried to set the Receptor manually. I would think that it can be done, though.
Good luck!

I don't think this would work for me. First off, I have no Windows PC and I will never have one as long there are decent alternatives on the market. Apart from soft synths I want to put some of my sample libraries on it which I would use with Kontakt2. I need to be able to change patches and tweak all sorts of parameters at any time.
I need to be able to to have open Plugin windows with all functions.
If I decide to get a Receptor I want to have access to all the advertised features, even if there are a number of workarounds. I just don't want to pay a full price for something that I cannot use to it's full intended potential.
It would be nice if Muse Research would put an official statement on their website whether they are going to support Apple computers fully and if yes, if it is a matter of weeks or months.
Maybe this question will be history soon, I simply hope it will all work out soon.

Ben, does this now work with Digital Performer> v4.6.1, or does it need 5.x?

Seems to me that using the Receptor as an external "synth" module in Logic would put a lot less strain on the situation. Are you able to do a lot more tracks w/out having to freeze tracks on large pieces that put a strain on the cpu's?
Rock solid is a good thing and I find this very interesting. Also the fact that 1 can utilize the Receptor in different ways. I would be interested to know which method of connectivity with Logic/Receptor would free up the most resources.
Thanks. A.
